How is Alicia Qualified?
Being a concerned citizen and possessing the energy to address issues is the most crucial qualifier Alicia brings. Ethical work values coupled with the determination and drive to excel while empowering others is what Alicia is about. Alicia brings her years of experience as a Budget and Program Analyst to the Board of Commissioner’s to assist in overseeing the needs of this community. As a highly respected educator for over 15 years with clear vision and understanding of necessary and needed improvements within the various areas of Wayne County also qualifies her for this position.
Alicia's first job started at the age of 12, where she worked with a Great Uncle and other family members in the tobacco industry. That opportunity started her on the road to 41 years of excellent work ethics. The work ethics and passion learned at an early age, resulted in Alicia becoming a Veteran, Government Contractor, Civil Service Worker, and Educator. Alicia would like to see policies change and resources granted that affords others the same opportunity of great work ethics and growth. Alicia cares deeply about Wayne County and its citizens.
